π Locking/Unlocking Frequencies
How Automatic Frequency Matching Works
By default, AirSync IEM receivers automatically sync to the nearest transmitter when powered on. This allows simple plug-and-play operation for single-system use.
When to Use Frequency Locking
- Using multiple AirSync IEM systems simultaneously
- Performing near other AirSync users
- Ensuring receivers only connect to specific transmitters
Once locked, receivers will only connect to their paired transmitter.
System Capabilities: Up to 13 transmitters on different channels. Multiple receivers can lock to one transmitter.
Lock Process
- Setup: Turn off all other AirSync devices before starting.
- Step 1: Hold transmitter power until screen blanks and flashes, then press once. Display shows βLOCKβ.
- Step 2: Within 10 seconds, hold receiver power until screen shows βLOCKβ. Repeat for each receiver.
- Step 3: While all screens flash βLOCKβ, press transmitter power once to confirm.
- Success: All units return to normal and display same channel.
Unlock Process
- Step 1: Hold transmitter power until display flashes, then press twice. Display shows βUNLOCKβ.
- Step 2: Within 10 seconds, hold receiver power until βUNLOCKβ appears. Repeat for each receiver.
- Step 3: While flashing, press transmitter once to confirm unlock.
- Success: Receivers now auto-sync to any available transmitter.
π Quick Reference

β Always confirm to complete process
π Charging
- Battery: 3.7V 950mAh Li-ion
- Battery Life: 5β6 hours (varies by use)
- Charge Time: 2β3 hours via USB-C (5V/1A)
- Low Battery Warning: Appears with ~1 hour remaining
- Both units can charge simultaneously and operate while charging.
π‘οΈ Built-in Limiter
The built-in limiter helps protect your hearing by reducing sudden volume spikes and overly saturated signal peaks before they reach your earphones.
- Engage limiter: Press the receiver power button three times
- Disengage limiter: Press the receiver power button three times again
Use the limiter when you want extra protection from unexpected loud transients or hot monitor mixes.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to pair the units?
No. AirSync IEM units are factory-paired. Locking is only required when using multiple systems at once.
How many systems can operate simultaneously?
Up to 13 transmitters on separate channels. Multiple receivers can sync to one transmitter.
Why am I getting audio dropouts?
Distance over 150ft, obstacles, interference, or low battery can cause dropouts. Move closer, ensure line-of-sight, or change frequency.
Audio sounds distorted. What should I do?
Lower your mixer's send level or receiver volume. AF meter should not constantly peak.
Can I use any earphones?
Yes, any standard 3.5mm earphones, headphones, or IEMs will work.
Can I connect a microphone directly?
No. The transmitter accepts line-level input only. Connect mic to a mixer first, then send monitor mix to AirSync IEM.
How do I know when to charge?
Battery icon on display shows remaining charge. Low battery warning appears with ~1 hour left.
What's the latency?
Less than 3msβeffectively imperceptible for live use.
Can I use it while charging?
Yes, both units are fully operational while charging (though not ideal for stage performance).
How do I enable or disable the built-in limiter?
Press the receiver power button three times to engage the limiter. Press it three times again to disengage it.
