Welcome
The Phantom In-Line Microphone Preamp Cable delivers a clean, transparent boost right inside the cable. It uses the same proven circuitry as our MB-Stealth preamp, but integrates the preamp into the cable for maximum simplicity and portability. Ideal for passive ribbon and dynamic microphones that need extra gain without adding noise or color.
Quick Start Guide
- Connect your microphone to the female XLR end of the Phantom cable.
- Connect the male XLR end of the Phantom cable to your audio interface, mixer, or preamp.
- Enable 48V phantom power on your interface or mixer.
- Raise your input gain gradually until you reach the desired level.
Connections & Power
- Input: Microphone into the cable’s female XLR.
- Output: Cable’s male XLR into your interface/mixer mic input.
- Power: Operates from standard 48V phantom power supplied by the host device.
- Always mute or lower monitors/headphones before toggling phantom power.
Important Notes
- Designed for passive ribbon and dynamic microphones.
- Not recommended for condenser microphones.
- Requires 48V phantom power from your mixer or audio interface.
