I do this for a living and I have been in audio for over 30 years. I don’t normally review stuff but I was blown away with the MB-1. I am going to order an MB-2 next. Build quality and performance are as good as anything out there and possibly better for some applications due to the 1.5 ohm impedance.
I may have made a mistake. I found out that my mic was the problem after all. I hope to test out this mic booster as soon as my new SM7B arrives can't wait. So far, I have high hopes. Great job Coda music and price as well is pretty cheaper than the famous cloud lifter that's a bonus.
I used the preamp for the 1st time on Sunday at church and after opening the box it looked like a work of art as compared to other devices I've used. It worked perfectly by adding gain but no noise. I was able to use lower gain setting on the mixer and avoiding feedback. Highly recommend this...
