Stomp x5

It‘s expensive, maybe even overpriced. But after wasting money on cheap, & not-so-cheap-but-cheaper-than-Stomp BT pedal switches, then having them fail during the show, decided to try one Stomp. I now bought an additional 4 for the rest of my band, which should tell you all you need to know.

That bit of kit shows you get what you pay for.

I decided to splash out on this page turner because the plastic one I used previously broke. My old one had a USB lead to power it. I accidentally stood on the lead and it snapped the USB socket!
This CODA one is excellent. I bought the bigger add on foot buttons and the power supply. You need a USA to UK plug converter if you’re in the UK like me.
The unit reeks of quality. It’s strong as an ox, has nice illuminated switches, connects via the Bluetooth every time, and turns the pages instantly.
It also comes in a really nice case.
My only gripe is I wish the mains lead and power supply would fit in the case as well.
Overall 9.5 out of 10

May be the best page turner on the market.

I’ve been through a few page turners over the past 10-11 years. First the Airturn which was good in the beginning but started to fail after a few years and became unreliable.
Next was the iRig BlueTurn. Which again was great in the beginning for a number of years the recently became unreliable and losing BT sync during a concert. Nothing more frustrating than to attempt to turn a page and nothing happens

After an extensive search I found The Stomp.
I love the form factor being effects pedal like and being able to power with a power supply. Sync was easy no issues. It stayed connected through my gig today. The foot switches are very tactile like effects pedal. I added pedal toppers which makes it even better. For those who maybe concerned about noisy foot switches in more quiet environments with the toppers a light touch with the foot will turn pages but even with heavier foot taps it’s not noisy at all.

I appreciate that it doesn’t power with a lithium battery because it can go in my checked luggage when traveling by air. It’s also great to move it to different pedal boards if I need to or just use it with stock power supply. I hight recommend the carrying case and power supply.
Im looking forward to taking the Stomp on the road.
Really a great page turner.
Also because of the range of the Stomp I’m able to use it in my home studio and computer when practicing with charts while they’re on my computer. The iRig Blue Turn had a problem doing this because my Mac Mini is on my computer desk and the Blue Turn below the desk and BT connection would get lost. The Stomp stays connected in this situation.

Excellent Pedal!

I love how sturdy and simple this page turner is. I'm a classicla musician, and I knew the buttons would make noise, but I was looking for a page turner primarily for practice at home, and the clicking doesn't bother me. I wouldn't be able to use it in a concert with quiet music, but it could work for louder pieces. It's really well-made. The case is great too. I would buy another one if a slient one is ever made.

Thanks for your feedback Michelle, much appreciated :)

The STOMP switches are quiet, however they are not completely noiseless/silent. There’s two types of switches designed for guitar pedals like this, fixed and momentary. Momentary switches do not have the hard “click” that your standard guitar pedal does, whereas fixed switches do have a very tactile and fairly audible click. While STOMP uses a momentary switch design, there is still a small amount of noise simply because it is a metal switch. It is not loud, but if you listen closely and are in a quiet environment, it is audible.

We find that in most musical environments it’s not a problem at all, however some studio environments or solo arrangements may find it to be too noticeable for their application.

Control all your favorite music apps with just the tap of your foot

As a gigging musician your hands should be focused on playing music. Not fumbling with your iPad screen. While smartphones and tablets have made it easier to carry your charts and lyrics, you still have to take your hands off of your instrument to change pages. With STOMP you can seamlessly turn or scroll through pages on your setlist, start & stop your metronome and much more!

What Sets STOMP Apart from Any Other Music Page Turner or Bluetooth Pedal?

STOMP is the most rugged, durable, and reliable app controller on the market, making it the obvious choice for professionals and hobbyists alike. It’s rugged enough to be run over by a truck (seriously, we tested it), so you know it will handle any gig, night after night. Just throw it in your bag or attach it to your pedalboard and go off to the next gig.

Don’t turn it, STOMP it!
