It seems to have trouble using the default pdf viewer on my iPad. Do I need to use one of the programs so it will work consistently?

Thank you for reaching out. Using the default PDF viewer on your iPad is not the ideal use for the STOMP pedal, and it might not work consistently. We recommend using a dedicated music sheet app for the best performance and reliability.

Apps like forScore, OnSong, and MobileSheets are designed to work seamlessly with Bluetooth page turners and will provide a more consistent experience.

I owned the original STOMP and loved everything it except for one thing. When I accidentally stepped on both footswitches as I was trying to turn a page, it took my tablet into keyboard mode and I had to wait a couple of seconds before I was able to get it back into normal mode. With this new STOMP, that no longer happens. Yes, if I step on the 2 footswitches for a couple of seconds, it will still go into keyboard mode as designed, but now when I accidentally step on both switches momentarily, it does nothing. Perfect! And like everyone knows, this thing is a tank and reliable, and it's the page turner to get, for sure!
