Having difficulty stomping and getting next page
Be better if was pedal.
wonderful quality, funktions without problems unless that there is a little clicking noise turning the pages
Bought one recently and the thing is sturdy as you could ever ask for. My other page turner was somewhat flimsy, and finally gave out on me after about a year of frequent use, but I can tell that this one is going to last a long time. It looks sleek, turns pages extremely reliably, and you don't have to worry about it getting tossed around and breaking (not that I'm recommending that you do that!). Absolutely perfect for the gigging musician that travels around and needs something reliable.
Only thing I'd comment on is that in silence, it'll make some noise if you don't press it gently; absolutely not a problem if the venue's loud, but if you're in a quiet recording environment where everything will get picked up, just press the button gently and you should be fine. Classical musicians may want to find a quieter alternative, but for the gigging jazz/rock/loud players, this thing's an absolute dream.
I’m not ashamed to put this on my pedalboard—it doesn’t look out of place next to a chasebliss pedal (which I don’t have, just tryna manifest that reality). And it turns pages on my iPad. Win win. I love that it’s powered by 9V and not a rechargeable lithium battery.
After 10 days, still haven’t received the controller. Thanks US mail...
This power supply looks very sturdy and built for a life of gigs in the bars and dives I play in.
Very impressed with the product (9 volt power supply with daisy chain). Delivery time was very fast. That's the way to do it!
Had to buy a Blue Tooth dongle
but the Stomp does not work with Finale
I bought a 9v DC negative synth that hummed when plugged into a power supply I had lying around. This CMT product fixed my problem. I’m happy.
This is really a must have item! It's just long (and short) enough to allow a convenient connection to my Stomp. Additionally, the black color makes it almost invisible when on stage. Finally, its very flexible and stores well during transport.
I have used this charging cable, not only with my Stomp unit, but charging all my other Apple units. I appreciate the extra flexibility of the cable and it's strong construction.
I've been using the standard white usb Apple cable, but this is perfect for performance because it is low-profile (being black/grey) and the braiding feels very high quality.
It's so nice to not worry about ever running out of power for your iPad set lists and transcriptions during a gig. I keep this cable always with my pedal board so I know there's always going to power available. The black cable blends into the mic stand and doesn't draw attention to itself. One less thing to worry about on a gig. Very well thought out accessory.
I purchased my tablet for use as a recording tool, music reading platform and music player for choir rehearsals. This stand/holder allows me to use my tablet in every way I envisioned. It rests solid on the stand held in place securely by the magnetic interface. It allows me to angle it for easy use for music reading and aim it for recording to achieve just the right angle and pitch to make my recordings look excellent. Thank you for creating such a useful, flexible product!
Makes life a lot easier
Terrific service, Frankfurt Customs and Donald Trump made it possible that the Mic Stand came 2 months post order.
But beside from that: Coda Team was very nice and helpful.
The magnet is really strong and because of the circular design you can easily rotate your tablet for portrait or landscape mode without adjusting anything. I feel much more comfortable with this option vs. the clamp style offered elsewhere. If someone bumps into my music stand, the only way this falls is if the whole stand goes down whereas competitor products the tablet can pop right out of the clamps.
The product relies on a crucial bit of self-assembly, namely attaching the magnetic coupler to your device or its protective case. To accomplish this the product is shipped with an alcohol swab for surface prep and a 3M VHB adhesive pad pre-attached to the magnetic coupler. In my case, the package containing the swab was perforated , meaning that the swab had dried out. No big deal, I used some other cleaning pads, but when I came to open the VHB pad, I found that the adhesive layer came away from the coupler and got scrunched up as I lifted off the protective film. I applied the coupler and waited 24 hours , but I noted that the seal is not flat - not sure how long it will hold. I used the tablet holder at rehearsal, and is a big improvement on my Rat Ipad music stand, but worried that I will have to reapply the coupler soon. Hope it does not come off while I am using it.
